Throwback 2017 & 2018 Resolution

I just can't believe that it is 2018 few days later. Time blinks! Everything goes on too fast and I can hardly capture any.

Just a small recap and sharing throughout my 2017.

In terms of studies, I have finally completed my degree studies and having my graduation ceremony in Kampar back in March. It was a note of full-stop, where I am a step ahead in my career and a goodbye to my campus life. Perhaps it is not an ending for my friendship.I will never forget all those amazing memories in the campus, with a bunch of crazy friends and all kind of typical lecturers haha!

In terms of career, I can tell that I have been working day and night throughout the year, literally like a cow. FYI, I am in the graphic field. Start working at 10am and back to home at late 9.30pm, I still have to deal with some of my freelance job. As a typical gemini, life is hard for me because it's repeating and boring. Routine and routine, I did not grow up much even day after day, just growing older. "What else I do to improve myself, beside working?" "How well am I?" "Am I stop learning?" I questioned. Nothing much, only routine, life moves on day by day without any excitement. Nothing memorable to be captured, just routine. I think I need to find a way out.

Superstar Libra Cruise Trip

In terms of being a blogger and influencer, yes! I have achieved more than what I've expected. Being a partime blogger and influencer, I am grateful because there are PRs who still appreciate and love my work. They saw effort that I made in my work, even just a single picture. They sent me invites, or even products for review and feature even though sometimes I took a much longer time. I am lucky as there are quite a number of aesthetic clinics who approached me, as well as joining a FAM trip for the very first time, an indeed brilliant experience on the cruise. I am so blessed because some of you still remember me :')

Double Eyelid Journey

In terms of my wishlist, I am so happy because I have accomplished one of my wishlist - getting my double eyelid stitched! It was sponsored and it was what I have wanted for long. Since young, I ain't satisfy with my uneven eyelid and I always wanted to "get rid of them". I am glad, I did. 

Another achievement on the wishlist would be, purchasing a new compact camera (Lumix GF8) as well as lenses that "bokeh" haha! If you have been keeping up with my social media, you may realised that those images quality has been improved! Color, composition and everything. Camera plays a great role and of course you always need an amazing photographer like my sister, boyfriend and girlfriend, Chency. Hehe!

In terms of asset, which was my bast achievement before the year ends would be buying a car! Yay! Finally! I have something belong to myself LOL.

In terms of health, hey! I gained weight haha! Ever since I started to start, I skipped my regular workout and did not have my meal on time. I used to give excuses like tired, I back to home late, or even I want to sleep more. I wasn't as toned as last time, wasn't as motivated as last time. I was quite disappointing about myself because I wasn't as disciplined as last time.

Life is all about up and down. It isn't always about happiness, there will be sadness and regret. But they are definitely worth being recorded in our memories. Make your day counts! I am grateful to have everyone of you who stay and back me up, making up every single pieces of mine 2017. I love all of you! 

Here comes my 2018 Resolutions!

Just a quick brief one haha!

First, commit to my Youtube Chanel, at least one video monthly. I have been convincing myself to really work things out on my channel, but then yes, I always have excuses to skip haha! I have tons of plan, yet when I think about filming and editing that take an absolute long time, I was like "nah, next time maybe". Anyway, I am still discovering an exact style to work out on my channel. I have a lot of chinese based subscribers and most of you prefer mine video in chinese. Should I just do more video in chinese, typically more lifestyle and freestyle? Let me know!

Second, slim down to my ideal weight, with proper diet and exercise. I have to really plan my exercise routine. Maybe having a jog every morning? As I don't really have much time left at night. Or maybe twice a week? Hit the gym during weekend?

Third, buy a medical card. Everyone asked me to get one because I am nearly 25! As in I will easily get sick as I age.

Forth, more amazing pictures on my social platforms! I have been working hard in editing my pictures, with more colorful background and do you realized it comes in a criss-crossing theme?

Last, yet to figure out haha!

I am looking forward to my 2018, I hope it is much fun-filled and interesting! I wish I will be given more opportunities! That's all of the wrap up of my 2017 and 2018 resolutions. What about you? 

Daily Skin Fix | belif

Hey peeps! After some quick prep on makeup for this Christmas, here comes the skincare part, which is also my current daily skin fix before and after work with belif!

It is always more than exciting when you receive gift sets from anyone! I am too lucky as I have received quite a number of Christmas gifts from the PRs! Much loves!

Before getting into the products, here are the tiny brief on the brand story itself.

Suncare is a must step for me ever since I started to attend classes in University. Never ever skip this step as it is indeed important to shield our skin against the harmful UV rays. 

Beside preventing the skin from sunburn and tanning, there are more reasons for why you should wear sunscreen!

belif tinted moisturizer powdery bb

I have been using the belif Tinted Moisturizer Powdery BB SPF43 PA++ , whenever I attend to work. I love how it works on my skin as a combination of BB Cream and moisturizer.

Texture and Scent:

It comes in a creamy texture in light beige color, accompanied by a soothing herbal scent. During the application, it is super easy to spread the bb cream out and evenly on the skin. The bb cream blends well into the skin and turns from cream into light powdery texture, leaving the skin with semi-matte and glowy finish. 

Unlike the usual sunscreen that gives a white cast on my skin, this tinted moisturizer powdery BB blends so well into my skin tone that gives a natural light finish with radiant complexion. It looks super natural on my skin, with light coverage that is good enough to smoothen my skin texture and cover up some tiny flaws, while moisturize my skin! Surprisingly, it doesn't really make the skin oily throughout the day.

Cleanse

Throughout the day, I believe that we accumulate enough dusts and pollutants on our skin! It's time to remove all the impurities on our skin using belif Cleansing Oil Fresh. Always bear in mind, always cleanse your face twice (remover + usual facial cleanser), no matter you are with makeup or not, you need to remove everything accumulated on the face. 

The cleansing is claimed as a makeup remover that can eliminate blackheads and preventing skin breakouts too. It suitable for oily to combination skin types.

Texture and Scent:

It comes in a oil-based watery texture, that turns into milk after contact with water. It shares the same herbal scent as in the tinted moisturizer powdery bb.

It comes in a gentle formulation, as shown in the picture on right, it isn't strong enough to remove waterproof makeup, so it is perfect for daily usage. 

Unlike the usual cleansing oil that cause some tinkle feelings on my skin, belif cleansing oil is much gentle and mild. I love how it gives a light refreshing feeling on my skin after the application. My skin is cleansed and the texture has become much moisturized and plump!

MOisture

After double cleansing our face, it's time to moisture our skin with belif Oil Control Moisturizer Fresh. 

This oil-free moisturizer helps providing lightweight moisture to the skin, without leaving the skin shine and oily. It helps tightening the pores and smoothen the skin surface.

Texture and Scent:
It comes in a gel form texture which is light and easy to spread, accompanied by a light herbal scent.

The texture is amazing, as I can feel how fine is the particles where it penetrates into the skin swiftly when it is spread, leaving the skin with zero stickiness and oiliness. Instantly, I can feel the skin is hydrated and soft.

Treat

After the moisturizer, it's time to provide deep treatment to our skin with the belif Aqua Gel Oil!

It helps to provide instant hydration to our skin, leaving the skin soft and moist without greasiness. It can be used an a primer right before application of makeup, gives an extra glowy and lasting moist to our skin.

Texture and Scent:
It comes in a light blue gel form that turns into light moisture oil texture. It gives a very slight stickiness on the skin, as there is a moisture barrier formed to lock in the skin moisture.

This is how my skin looks like right after all the steps of cleanse, moisture and treat! My skin has turned out more healthy and glowy! To be honest, I love all the products from belif. This is my very first approach on the products and I am indulged! They are gentle as I don't feel any tinkle feelings on my skin and my skin texture is getting better after 2 weeks of usage. FYI, I have sensitive skin, my skin feels so much calm and soothing after using these products. I guess it works well on sensitive skin too.

Cruelty-Free Makeup | Lip & Co.

Hello December! I guess all of you can't wait for the arrival of Christmas like I do! 

I have actually started to prep for Christmas earlier, as I will be having dinner date with my friends and my loved one. Here I am to share with you my Christmas haul from Lip & Co.!

Packaging

It comes in a minimal design with black as a dominant color. The top black cover comes in a matte frosted finish where the bottom of the tube comes in a transparent glass that clearly gives a hint of every single lips shade. The overall design is rather clean and elegant.

Texture and scent

The texture of the lipstick itself is much creamy, with a glossy and moisture reflective coat. The colors are pretty intense and pigmented on the hand. Beside, it comes in a light hint of sweet buttery scent.

Here are the exact swatches on lips. It is super easy to glide on the lips, without leaving the lips too dry. It is build-able where it can be sheer or even boldly on lips.

The shade 09 Rendezvous is pretty different as shown on swatches and on lips. On the lips, it turns out lighter and close to nude shade with a hint of purplish-pink. Just a perfect go for daily working or casual outing look.

The shade 02 Alluring is nice and warm, and it easily bring up the the overall look, perfect for occasional errands or even a dinner date. 

Personal thoughts

Personally, I love the shade 02 Alluring over shade 09 Rendezvous as it boosts up my overall better. Instead of cool tone, I would prefer a warmer shade as I look much fairer and I have a better skin complexion. My skin look rather dull with tone 09 Rendezvous.

The lipstick is not drying, as it gives my lips a glossy yet velvety finish. It isn't transfer-proof, yet the lipstick can last up to few hours on the lips after eating and drinking.

Just Wing It Liquid Eyeliner

Packaging

The eyeliner comes in a minimal black tube, with silver stamping on the product descriptions. The handle part comes in matte frosted finish while the cap comes in a glossy finish.

Material and application

The tip itself is made of felt, it is slight soft at the sharp tip and slight harder on the bottom part. I love how the felt tip applicator is invented, as it is so easy to glide on the skin and I can easily control on the thickness of the lines. 

Texture and color

The color itself is super intense with a slight glossy coating on top.

I would definitely recommend this to the makeup beginners or newbies, as this liquid eyeliner is what you should grab! It is so easy to use and control on the precision of lines drawing. The applicator controls the flow of the ink well, as you need not to worry about the over-flow of ink and the ink dries up super fast. More over, it is water-resistant and long lasting, not rub-resistant tho. In terms of sebum-proof, it works really well with the price, as it can stays up to 6 hours, with slight fall off, as I used to rub my eyes lol.
