MOJO Nail Cafe @SS2

Right before my trip to Taiwan, I have decided to get my manicure and pedicure done. I wanted to look awe-fully beautiful from fingers to toes in a new land, not only from the way I dress LOL. *Confidence over-load*
I have visited few nail salons and bars in the previous and yet this was my first time come across a nail cafe.
MOJO Nail Cafe was located at SS2, above Vape and Tint Service shops, at the same row of RHB Bank. It wasn't that hard for me to look for the place, as I just used to WAZE there and I need to really look at the unnoticeable signboard.
Right at the doorstep, I was surprised by the props corner, a full table of props and nicely decorated corner which was just perfect for selfies.
I have so much fun playing with the props with my sister right before we left the nail cafe!

The overall design of the nail cafe was in vintage concept with wooden tables and chairs, the step, red bricks that piling up, hanging light bulbs, green plants, nature lighting during the day time, as well as laces and concrete that added a little princessy and modern feeling to the cafe.
What made this nail cafe difference from the others, it was an event space for approximately 50 persons, serving great food and drinks on their menu! Well, I guess it was amazing to have a tiny party with friends here, being pampered with some manicures and pedicures while having some great food at the same time. Although the place was tiny, yet it was just perfect and cozy for some bachelorette party, baby shower, farewell and anything you can name.

Further more, your friends or boyfriend who wait, will never be boring! They can get some drinks or food, with free wifi provided!
SEE! Instagram-friendly place where I can take selfie any time any place!
Headed for manicure and pedicure session, which was just next to a lace curtain, that made me feel like a princess being pampered. With black elegant sofa and even a sofa for two! I can bring my mom here next time!
They even have a TV here just to in case you are bored from waiting your manicure or pedicure to dry up!
They have a lot of sample nail art to look and choose from,, just to match your dress code or specific occasions!

This time, I opted something plain and natural for my nail. A manicure color that closest to my nature nail color, which was soft pink, for a sweet and lovely touch!
For the toes, I have opted something glitter and bright for a new year - Chili red. Something outstanding when I wear my flipflop. *Raise brow*

The overall experience was fine, I have tried their Lavender Tea and I really love it! Yet to find out the menu and food they serve. I found both of the classic mani and pedi was way too speedy, that took less than 1 hour excluding the basic treatment and time for dry up? The skill of manicurist still have to be improved, especially the basic application.
I would recommend this if you are going for something affordable and fast. In addition, it is a indeed an amazing place for a party or event, with a pampering corner.

Now, a special deal for all of you before Chinese New year!

Pedicure and Manicure session at beeQnails!

Earlier of July, I have paid a visit a beeQnails near ss2. It has been a long time since my last manicure and pedicure. I have always amazed by their nail art design on Instagram, and finally I got to try them now!

beeQnails is a OPI partner salon which located at the double storeys housing area, beside Beauty Highpoint. It's actually nearby the LDP road and Murni Mamak.

-Interior Design-
The interior design of beeQnails is based on the warm and housing concept, giving their customers the most comfortable and cozy feeling. To be clear, they are all using OPI products.

Here's the waiting area by the window. No worries you can bring along your boyfriend, husband, siblings or friends.

The manicure area which is just located at the living hall, with magazines and samples of designs on the rack.

The pedicure area which is located in a room, giving us the best privacy and serene. I have always refused to have pedicure session externally, I meant like outside a room with everyone walking around or other people who is having manicure at the same time, it was so graceless to show my feet.

The most pleasing design was the television! They are placed well in the pedicure room and manicure area. You can enjoy you favorite show while doing manicure/pedicure, no more bored or awkward situation with your nail technician haha!

-Pedicure-
I have started off my journey with Kate on pedicure. Hereby I was having Avocado Pedicure treatment. It was OPI's advanced avocado lipid complex, the foundation of Avoplex system, which is packed with naturally moisturizing, protecting and soothing ingredients. The ingredients including antioxidants, vitamins and avocado oil (closely resembles skin's mineral oil). Avocado oil benefits our skin by moisturizing our skin, increase collagen production, heal wounds and treat skin conditions like eczema.

After soaking and scrubbing, Kate carried on with cuticle detailing, callus removal and massage with Avocado lotion.

As a confident, passion and energetic people, red perfectly describe and represent me! Hereby, I was in OPI Big Apple Red.

-Manicure-
As usual, we have started off with cleaning, shaping and polishing our nails before manicure.

Hereby, I was having Gel Nail by OPI. It was based with pastel purple color and topped with marble design (pastel pink, blue and beige). Some of the nails were nicely framed with silver glitters and some cute nail stickers!

You can pick you favorite stickers in your design, there are lotsa choices with either edgy, cute, or even elegant design like laces! Variety of designs are offered, from Nail Up, Nail Venus and Nail Max which are all imported from Japan as well as assorted nail accessories for adding on!
Tadaaa, have my both hand done!
For OPI gel nail, it gives intense shine and shades cure in 30 seconds. It lasts for minimum 2 weeks and maximum a month, depends on how you take care of them. Well recommended to remove it after 2 weeks, or else it will affect you nail growth.

After manicure, we carried on with Avocado manicure treatment, like scrub and lotion! Look so graceful LOL

 -Price-
Manicure RM60
Pedicure RM75
Gel RM50
Nail art RM20-RM100

-Overall Review-
Thanks a lot to Kate for the amazing service which kept me laughing and talking most of the time! The full manicure and pedicure design were done in approximately 4 hours. And of course again, the television played a great role LOL. As I realized that, most of the manicure/pedicure shop do not place any television, it was so bored to flip the magazines over with our just-got-to-finish finger nails or just chit chat, sometimes there's some awkwardness without any topic. Their nail art design are fantastic, you may just check them out online before visiting them!

Living in colors

How I got to know China Glaze?
Before that, the only nail polish's brand I knew was OPI. I heard about China Glaze from Chency as she joined the Summer Fling Bloggers event but I wasn't invited to. Then I didn't bother much of that until my brother worked for China Glaze and I got to met their manager. I started to love China Glaze and can't stop trying all the colors. It's fun to see my nails with different colors once a week, I'm happy and the colors did make some changes to my mood.

For over 13 years, China Glaze has exceeded the bar set by the professional nail care industry, providing the highest quality of globally rich, on-trend, innovative color lacquers and treatments. All the colors provide the perfect accent to any individual style. From neon, to reds, corals, to shades of blue, they are all inspired by the shores of Tahiti, the nightlife in New York City, and beauty within every woman.

Reasons why I fancy China Glaze?
All China Glaze colors are free from harmful chemicals like DBP, Toluene and added Formaldehyde.
Fast dry.
Awesome colors which I will be sharing below.

Nail colors of the week from China Glaze.
'For Audrey' and 'Up All Night' for Ms.Rosy event.

'Champagne Kisses' and 'Ruby Pumps' for Calvin Klein event.

'Yellow Polka Dot Bikini' and 'That's Shore Bright' for BCL Workshop.

Clearer shot for all the colors.
#1 'For Audrey', a dupe for the Tiffany light blue robin egg color.

#2 Loving the blue shimmer from 'Up all Night'! Edgy and glam!

#3 You can definitely use 'Champagne Kisses' during your big day, it's so elegant yet glam!

#4 I love 'Ruby Pumps' the most, as it's kind of metallic colors, the texture is smooth and glitters is in within, unlike others as the glitters will appear on top and making the texture sandy.

#5 Within all the neon series, I fancy 'That's Shore Bright' the most. It makes me look fairer :3

#6 'Yellow Polka Dot Bikini' with it's cute name, is absolute the most neony color, so striking LOL

Others favorites
Which I haven't try them out yet. Maybe you can try them out and tell me =p
China Glaze's Texture Range

When I was browsing through Google, I was so amazed by this watermarble nail art which was still keeping with China Glaze's texture. I have no idea how this fellow did this wtf. I must credit this as well, here.
